Defence and aerospace

The MoD spends over £16 billion annually on a wide range of products and services, making it the number one customer for UK industry. In 2009 the MOD placed over 27,000 contracts in order to satisfy the requirements of its worldwide operations and the needs of its 250,000 service personnel. We are able to connect companies in the defence industry worldwide either directly with The Ministry of Defence through its Defence Support Group, or by working in partnership with major contractors that supply Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), which has been set up to supply the UK’s Armed Forces.

We have worked with companies to supply contracts to: provide laser cut and fabricated armour for military vehicles; supply lifting and testing equipment for aircraft carriers; supply nuclear, biological and chemical-proof dampers to the French Navy and for the supply and repair of valves for the MoD.
