Plans to develop offshore Wind Farms in the region create an opportunity to attract inward investment. Yorkshire Forward asked Square 5 to create a supplier database of regional capabilities that would then be made available to developers and manufactures when looking for suppliers.
Solution
The Square 5 Team put together a website which including the branding, design and development with a backend database to capture the information collected. An email campaign was then sent out to databases and partners, asking companies to complete the capability questionnaire.
Result
Over 750 companies responded to the questionnaire. Analysis of capabilities was produced and presented to major manufacturers and at the European Wind Energy Trade Show.
