Square 5 led the initiative working with the local business community in and around Sheffield

Project

Shortly after moving into the fantastic Electric Works, Square 5 felt there was something they could do collaboratively with other local businesses to help organisations like them grow. After an initial meeting with Electric Works and Rocca, the idea came about to create a new event and network, specifically for businesses in and around Sheffield.

Solution

Designed to stimulate business in and around Sheffield, the event was put together with other local businesses providing break-out sessions including: Randstad, Momentum Media Solutions, Digital Region, Highlander Business Solutions and Rocca. The first event was also sponsored by local recruitment agency Randstad.

Result

Over 100 businesses attended the first event in May and a further event took place in November 2010 in collaboration with local businesses: Connextions PR, Design 101, Entrepreneur Exchange and Jonny Douglas Ltd.
