To organise and promote a high profile event for the business community in Yorkshire with Lord Sebastian Coe. 

Solution

It is a rare occasion that the region has the pleasure of hearing directly from one of the UK's most important figure heads for British sport. The challenge was to ensure the event was engaging, informative and would also fit in with Lord Coe's extremely tight schedule for his visit to the region.

Square 5 coordinated everything from transport, security, stakeholder liaison, attendance, delegates and the media. With schedules changing daily the team had to ensure they liaised with all stakeholders appropriately and strict guidelines and protocol set by the ODA and LOCOG were adhered to. 

Result

The event took place at Bradford Football Club and ran seamlessly, attracting over 300 businesses from the region. Other speakers included Don Stewart, Special Projects Director of Welcome to Yorkshire, Deliotte, Lloyds TSB and BT.
